2003年，我們在網路上購得了第一隻拉布拉多，也因為這隻拉布拉多讓我們知道拉布拉多犬在台灣的環境，由於台灣的寵物繁殖與買賣的機制並不健全，導致患有遺傳疾病的拉布拉多犬因為流行而大量的不當繁殖，進而產生了為數不少髖骨關節發育不全的犬隻，也讓不少熱愛拉布拉多的朋友們心碎。 |
In 2003 we purchased our
first Labrador on the Internet. Slowly we got to know more and more
about Labradors and their growth environment in Taiwan. Pets in Taiwan
are bred in a large number but the buyer-seller mechanism is not well
established. As a result, many Labradors with genetic disorders are
improperly bred to meet demand and a number of puppies with canine hip
dysplasia are being born, breaking the hearts of Labrador lovers.

2004年開始，藉由網路的發達，不斷的參考以及聯絡相關的健康機構，讓我們對於遺傳疾病的防止有了深度的認識，於是我們深深的思考著，以一個瘋狂熱愛拉布拉多犬的狂熱份子自居，成立一個以健康為終極目標之犬舍的想法，在我們心中逐漸萌芽。
Sandylands犬舍為拉布拉多犬的起點，在參考許多文獻文圖資料後，2005年，在Sandylands My Guy
3-3系統繁殖的吸引下,我們購入了我們的第一隻賽級犬 Alnot of With Labradors FCI 呼名：MARU，Sandylands血系特徵在此犬身上展現的一覽無遺，加上MARU在賽場上的表現尚可，更加快了我們成立犬舍的腳步。 |
Since 2004, we have been
constantly referencing and contacting related health institutions
through the Internet so that we have a deeper understanding about how to
prevent genetic disorders. We also started to think in depth and to see
ourselves as Labrador zealots. The idea of establishing a kennel with
the health of the dogs as the guiding principle hence started to take
shape in our minds.
Sandylands Kennels (UK) was the starting point for our Labradors.
After consulting much literature and being fascinated by the Sandylands
My Guy 3-3 line breeding, we purchased our first show dog Alnot of With
Labradors FCI, CN: Maru, in 2005. The dog represents every single
characteristic one can think of in the Sandylands family. The
satisfactory performance of Maru in shows expedited our pace in
establishing a kennel. |

| 2006年是個精采的年，在先進的幫助下，我們得到另外一隻優秀的公犬 Wise
Bell's Funny Boy FCI 呼名：TAKI，同年在寶路展拿下成犬公組第一席以及在年底登 錄了冠軍，家中另一隻MIX犬 HITOMI也通過的狗醫生的考試，開始服務有需要的病友，由於許多條件都已具備之下，2006年9月［拉布莊園－拉布拉多專業犬舍］正式成立。 |
2006 was a wonderful year. With assistance from pioneers,
we obtained another excellent male dog, Wise Bell’s Funny Boy FCI, CN:
Taki, which was the openwinner at the FCI /KCT International Pedigree
Show TaiPei in the same year and became a champion at the end of the
year. Another mixed breed dog in the family, Hitomi, also passed the Dr.
Dog’s test and started to serve the sick and elderly patients. With many
requirements being met, Lab Farm – Labrador Professional Kennel was
formally established in September 2006. |

2007年開始，拉布莊園正式開始繁殖並主動的讓犬隻接受遺傳疾病的檢查，雖然台灣沒有像歐美日一般的公認機構，但是不代表台灣做不到，拉布莊園因為同時擁有賽犬、工作犬、寵物犬，所以可以常與飼主們、犬友們一起討論著犬隻飼養、價值觀等等，做最互動的交流。
犬隻正確秉性、犬隻健康堅持，是我們永遠的方向，也希望大家一起分享這種英國犬種在台灣正確延續的成果。 |
In 2007 Lab Farm
officially began to breed dogs and have its dogs receive genetic
disorder examinations. Although there is no certified institution in
Taiwan as in Europe, America, and Japan, it does not mean that Taiwan
cannot do it. There are show dogs, working dogs and pet dogs in Lab Farm
so we often discuss with owners and dog lovers on how best to raise
dogs.
Dogs with correct
characteristics and good health are our constant goal. It is also our
hope to share our achievements in our championing of this most British
of dogs in Taiwan.
